From Brenham to Rockport
After we left Brenham we headed to Rockport for a week. We stayed at the KOA which was recently rebuilt. Everything had been recently updated after hurricane Harvey left the area devastated in 2017. The showers and laundry were well maintained and the facility is gated. While we didn’t use the pool or the clubhouse, they did have a couple activities scheduled the week we were there and many people did participate.
This KOA has a fishing pier into a salt lake and a place to clean your catch (make sure to have your fishing license!). They also have a couple places to put in and go kayaking.
We had a back in site near the clubhouse and putt putt course. It had a nice size lawn and good distance from our neighbor.
Overall, a nice stay in Rockport for us! Stay tuned to find out where we explored in the area!
