High Visibility Safety Vests

Early in our RV travels we had a tire issue just one mile from our destination. While stopped at a traffic light on a busy six lane highway our TPMS alarm went off. Fortunately there was an empty middle turn lane we could pull in to and figure out what was going wrong.
While Steve prepared to change the tire Kate worked on calling the non-emergency number for the local Police department to request some traffic control assistance. Shortly thereafter a Police officer showed up and Steve was ready to get working on swapping to the spare tire. The Police officer kindly blocked a lane of traffic for us so that Steve would have some extra space to work in the middle of a busy highway.
When everything was done we thanked the Officer for his assistance. The Officer made the comment that we got the tire swap done rather quickly and he thought we were actually a roadside assistance crew because the whole time we were wearing our high visibility safety vests!
