Holiday Sandcastle Village of South Padre Island
We ventured over to South Padre Island, and stumbled upon the Holiday Sandcastle Village of South Padre Island . It was all dolled up for Christmas alongside some longer term sand art, such as the amazing Taylor Swift mermaid. If you’re in this area, we highly recommend checking out this rotating gallery of sand sculptures!
We found all the items in sand for the scavenger hunt, too, but it took a bit of time!
Did you know that South Padre Island has a Sandcastle Festival each year? Yep! Artists come and show off their work on the beach in October. You can check out some of the amazing artwork from prior years on their page @scdayspadre . We think it would be awesome to attend!
