Let's talk about National Parks
Do you have a National Parks Pass ? We bought one this year since we plan to see several over the next 12 months. While in Buffalo, we visited the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Historic Site . It was pretty neat!
Because it’s run by both a non profit and the national parks system, there is a charge to take a tour. But you can walk the grounds for free and there is a small museum about the Pan-American Exposition (World’s Fair) that ran from May 1 through November 2, 1901.
Theodore Roosevelt was inaugurated during the fair after President McKinley was shot twice and passed away from gangrene in his wounds.
