New Hampshire Adventures: Scenic Mountain Roads and Rough Rides
We’ve made it to New Hampshire! This is our 9th new state that we’re exploring in our RV this year.
We are staying on the western edge of New Hampshire, only a few miles from Vermont. The drive through the mountains and valleys was very scenic, but the roads are some of the worst we’ve ridden on this year!
We took US route 302 across eastern Vermont into New Hampshire and it definitely is not a road we want to travel on again. At least until it’s been repaved. Spoiler alert! We were to continue on US 302 to our next stop in Maine but we chose not to risk it and stuck to the interstates instead. This added an extra hour+ and 60-ish miles but was worth the trouble.
