Our stay in Mackinaw City was great!
We will absolutely return to visit some of the things we didn’t get to in the three days we were in Mackinaw City . We stayed at the Mackinaw City KOA which is not too far from town and provides a free shuttle to the dock if you are planning to ferry over to Mackinac Island . We took one day to just walk the town and see what it had to offer. There are lots of lovely shops and interesting places to eat (including a Kilwins!).
😍What would a trip to Mackinaw be without fudge? We stopped at Murdick’s which is a 5th generation family owned fudge shop in Mackinaw (both city and island). Even Steve liked the fudge!
❓Did you know that Mackinaw and Mackinac are both pronounced the same? The c on the end is the French spelling and the w on the end is the English spelling. Go figure.
