Exploring a miniature Stonehenge

This Stonehenge was the culmination of a joke between two friends in the 80’s and was donated to the Hill Country Arts Foundation in the 90’s after the owner passed away. Also donated was a 13-foot replica of a Moai from Easter Island.

Our Stay at Old River Road RV Resort

During our time in Kerrville, we stayed in Old River Road RV Resort . It had an amazing dog park! Coco and Marley were able to play in one of two big yards one afternoon. Coco and Tucker also made some new friends one morning during our stay. We love when parks have nicely kept dog parks (and responsible pet owners!).

Visiting the Lyndon B Johnson NHP

We spent a long afternoon visiting the Lyndon B Johnson State and National parks in Johnson City, TX. Much of the Ranch was shut down for renovations, but we were able to learn the history of President Johnson’s family farm and take in some of the sights. I’m sure this place is just gorgeous in spring!

Our first 2025 travel stop is Kerrville, TX

Our first stop of the year is in Kerrville, Texas. Kerrville is in the heart of Texas Hill Country and was where jewelry maker James Avery first began creating jewelry. We really enjoyed seeing the public art here and in the surrounding cities of Johnson City, Boerne, and Comfort.
