Stormy Skies at Thousand Islands Campground
With all the traveling we do, would you believe that we rarely have travel days that are rainy? Much to our chagrin, the trip from Hector up to the Thousand Islands was a really stormy day.
Our site at the 1000 Island Campground was partially under water when we arrived, but the park had called us to check in over the phone. That was super helpful! It took us a bit longer to get parked and set up, but we were able to take the rest of the afternoon to dry out!
