Today our holiday shopping recommended item is the TIDRadio TD-H3 GMRS Handheld Radios

We learned very early in our RV adventures that clear communication while parking is key to success. We’ve seen many couples who use some form of hand signals and yelling to accomplish the stressful parking task, usually with poor results.

For us using handheld radios is much easier than yelling and they work when there is no cellphone signal. We like these radios for the simple operation out of the box, yet they have advanced features for those that need them. These radios feature a belt clip, removable battery that charges via USB-C, replaceable antenna, headset connections for handsfree use, and they can be programmed with a computer or smartphone app. Bonus feature includes a flashlight (which is surprisingly bright for the size) that also functions as flashing emergency locator.

If you are familiar with the cheap FRS radios typically sold at local outdoor retailers, these TIDRadio handheld radios are a big step up in features and communications range.
