Checking out the Great Gravity Clock
Took a little time to check out the Great Gravity Clock in Fort Lauderdale —and it did not disappoint!
Did you know? There are only 3 of the Great Gravity Clocks operational in the world - the other two are in Singapore and London. These clocks are in a class of their own, “clocking in” at a whopping 52 FEET in height! They run completely on kinetic energy so they don’t need any power to keep them moving.
Watching time measured purely by gravity is oddly mesmerizing… simple, hypnotic, and a great reminder to slow down for a minute. If you’re nearby it’s definitely worth a quick stop to see it in action!
