Visiting Manistique, MI
While at Kitch-iti-kipi , we decided to travel a few extra miles over to Manistique for an afternoon walk along the shore of Lake Michigan and visit Manistique East Breakwater Lighthouse .
This lighthouse was put into service in 1916 to aid boats in navigating the transition between the breakwater where Lake Michigan meets the Manistique River.
We also stopped to look at some of the street art and an old water tower (the museum was not open at the time).
