What’s the place you love to have lunch

What’s the place you love to have lunch? For us, it’s Mission BBQ . Consistently delicious and a company that supports our veterans. This location is near our winter spot and it’s our first time visiting this winter.
Check out that loaded baked potato!! YUM!
Do you travel with a houseplant?

We got a spider plant from our friend Kerrie in August. We’ve named it Parker. Today, Parker got new soil. She has grown a LOT since August!
Kate visits with family near Tampa Florida

While visiting Kate’s aunt and uncle near Tampa, she and her uncle went to pick citrus at Dooley Groves . What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Honeybells and red grapefruit were ripe in the orchards, but they also came home with a couple pomelos (Kate’s favorite), sweet oranges, and Ponderosa Lemons . The Ponderosa lemons were HUGE! Kate made a 1/2 gallon of lemonade with just one lemon!
What did y’all do this weekend

We washed the van, did a few projects around the house, and helped our family pressure wash their driveway! (Photo is part way through)
We have really lucked out on our trek south

This is the second HUGE site we’ve had. We stayed here for two nights and visited with some friends while in Fellsmere. This pull through site was about 90 feet long and maybe 30-35 feet wide. We could have easily stayed here all winter long. The park is just off I-95 (so there is some highway noise) and is a newer, gated park. The pad is crushed shell/coral. The site was level and the utilities worked well.
Happy New Year

Happy New Year!
What goals do you have for 2026? Let us know in the comments!
We have a goal to visit 14 states. It’s a pretty ambitious travel schedule for us, too. We can’t wait to share it with you!
2025 was one for the books

Our plans changed dramatically in April and we headed back east for medical needs, but we still made an amazing year out of it!
We had a nice one night stop in Darien, Georgia on our 4…

We had a nice one night stop in Darien, Georgia on our 4 day trek south for winter. This is one of the LONGEST sites we’ve been in with probably room for another 40’ RV in front of our truck and a Jeep behind our van. It was super easy in and super easy out. Not all the sites in this park are this large, but they all have nice sized level pads.
I’m not sure what Coco is trying to say here

She doesn’t have her license and can’t see over the steering wheel so she is definitely not driving us South for the winter…
