And… we’re off! We’re traveling for the next two months to some really awesome places.

One of the ways we try to save money on the road is to eat at home. We all know cooking in an RV is viewed as being very different than cooking at a house, but it doesn’t have to be!

While in St. Augustine, we had some fun times with friends! We love meeting up with people as we travel, and this time was no exception!

The public art in St. Augustine was pretty great! We spent a day driving around to some of the murals I could find online.

St Augustine, FL is the oldest city in the United States. It was founded in 1565 by Pedro Menendez de Aviles . But even before that, Juan Ponce de Leon landed ashore here.

We always find amazing places to eat wherever we go! St. Augustine is so hot in the summer - we just had to find ice cream! Cookiebird Ice Cream Bar was an amazing find!

Stagecoach RV Resort is a great place to stay while visiting St. Augustine! It’s about 7 miles outside of town to the northwest.

What better way to check that everything is working properly and perform a bit of maintenance on your “backup house” than taking it on a trip?
