We had to repot Parker again today

We had to repot Parker
again today! Hopefully she won’t outgrow this one in the next 7 months!!
We start our travels tomorrow from North Georgia and will be on the road until December 1st. Stay tuned!!

We met up with The Random Rovers and had dinner at Crumps Landing during our stay in Homosassa. You may not know this, but Steve is a sucker for a tiki bar! This place is awesome!
While we had to wait about 75 minutes for a table (on a Friday night), we enjoyed drinks and conversation while watching manatees and other activity on the Homosassa River. We even got to see a Great Blue Heron! There was a live band which, when combined with the great food, drinks, and company, provided the perfect vibe for a fun night out!
Stillwater Preserve RV Resort

Have you been to Stillwater Preserve RV Resort in Homosassa, Florida?
This resort is just beautiful! It has generously sized RV pads and many of the sites are on water or green space. The amenities are lovely too - pool and hot tub, gym, billiards room, clubhouse, and miles of nature trails. The word “preserve” in the name is spot on, as this park is a designated nature preserve with many animals hanging around!
The Surf RV Resort in Palmetto, Florida

Wow! What a great stay at The Surf in Palmetto, Florida! This park is beautiful!! It is a 55+ resort with HUGE sites and well maintained facilities and grounds. There are several pickleball courts with bleachers. They have lots of activities scheduled during the high season and have a permanent food truck on site (which was really good!). All the folks we met were friendly and lots of people out walking dogs and riding bikes in the park. We were in this area visiting some of Kate’s family, and this was a perfect place to stay to be central to them.
Matchy matchy

Matchy matchy!! It’s not often that we both grab our shirt from the same event, but when we do, it’s photo worthy!
I can’t believe our winter season is almost at a close! We start traveling again in the next few days. Stay tuned for some great places this year!
10 years ago, we said "I do" to choosing each other

10 years ago we said “I do” to choosing each other. And we still choose each other every day. It’s not ever perfect, but it’s a wonderful life overall.
That day was an amazing spring day in Atlanta with our family beside us. And Steve even smiled (there’s photographic evidence!). Happy Anniversary!

These shower doors have got to go!

Another week of winter, another project! This week we tackled removing our glass shower doors. Not a horribly difficult project, but it does take some time to allow the added pieces to adhere and the caulking to dry.
Huge shout out to our friends Fair Winds RV for all the help and support along the way! They recently did a YouTube video about this project in their own RV which made our job so much easier!

Checking out the Great Gravity Clock

Took a little time to check out the Great Gravity Clock in Fort Lauderdale —and it did not disappoint!
Did you know? There are only 3 of the Great Gravity Clocks operational in the world - the other two are in Singapore and London. These clocks are in a class of their own, “clocking in” at a whopping 52 FEET in height! They run completely on kinetic energy so they don’t need any power to keep them moving.
